A historic day, a day of mass significance to all Somalis on all sides of the political situation..
But aside from the politics, where were you on that day?
I was in right here... with my parents in good ole Silver Spring, Maryland.
My dad told me that folks in DC were really optimistic, they really thought there would be positive change.

Where was I? Probably still in hot Cairo or in Emirates (Which I loved).

In xamar as a baby, waiting to see what happens. Funny me and my mom's side didn't leave for awhile probably not another 3 or 4months, all the time being in the middle of the action. Blessed to be alive runti.
