^^ Braveheart is next on the list, or rather any movie with The Gibson in attendance. It doesn't do to hate the English when I live with them. It's easier to hate America like the rest of the world though I'm starting to think that's out of jealousy

I never liked the Patriot. There was NO romantic components to the movie. It was rather blazee---i think they were NOT sure who they should have as their romantic lead--gidbson or ledger.


Braveheart was amazing though. A startling balance of romance and action movie. I mean, i am no fan of action movies--yet i thought the action in that movie was ESSENTIAL. My favorite part is when the queen speaks in french with her lady in waiting, and also the scenes where between her and mel. Electric. Not to mention the fighting on the ground scenes.Mel played a really crazy scottish man.or irish?

Basra why are you always seeking to orgasm from everything? This movie was about the love of family and the love for ones country. I liked that there wasn't much focus on the romantic relationship between the couples, it was not the time for romance. Gibson's lady had this unwavering dependability that showed loyalty whereas Ledger's lady always brought smiles even when the times were rough which is why it was so shocking that she actually died, and in such a horrific way! I'm surprised it didn't make me cry, I was too shocked I suppose. But the point is, The Patriot had a central theme and they delivered it beautifully. I am disappointed that you of all people don't appreciate that, oh wait, that's right it's not fickle and love sick so it doesn't fall in your like-Austen category

No, i get the patriot theme-- i mean look at the title of the movie for Gods sake.Patriot to your country, patriot to your husband, and your domesti duties. Boring if you ask my cosmopolitan Austen head. But come on--Gibson and ledger in a movie, and u r telling me its not a magnet for the ladies? Of course i want romantic orgasms in it. Its essential.

You're hopeless. Actually Gibson movies are quite PG, I can't remember watching a movie he's in and thinking shit who has the remote. Compare to Brad Pitt who I can't remember seeing in a single movie without him showing skin. It must suck to be used just for your looks
