I am more currious about the impact of the Sool conflicts and what the world has observed as a peacefull region. Considering the the SSC carry the Somali republic flag could this actually become translated into the work of the TFG to destablise the north that has experienced relative peace for 20 years?
The World and the AU only take notice where regional destability can cause an even larger outflux of refugees from the region! This incident has the potential of making the TFG a negative partner to regional peace. Were it to be taken that TFG is behind this act or is influential in it's escalation then the further it escalates it has an inversely proportional impact on TFG's bargaining platform.
Question is how many somalis have to die before there is a global opposition to the voilence?
Somalidiid have no solution for Somalia. All they want is to become a clan State and recognized by the world. TFG is completely useless in the South, and are being kept alive by AU troops. Al Shaabab is a huge problem, hawiye hasn't changed a bit their still the most disorganized clan in the history of Somalia. There everywhere, in the TFG, in Al Shaabab, in ASWJ and now every sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub clan of Hawiye has created their own fake State.
Rahanweyn oo dhan wa iska Al Shaabab. And Marehan iyo Ogaden are completely useless for their own sake in South Somalia.
Somalia has no hope but Puntland, and that is not hard to see.

I like the sales pitch, does Faroole have what it takes to ride this slogan? Considering
- All the Pirates have been chased out of Pland
- Sland is in a war
- Koonfur still in a deadlock between TFG+Shabab with no sign of negotiations. <<< Meal ticket
Posibility of even opening the doors to negotiations with Al-shabab and i think Pland can even move the Capital to Gerowe, their Bargaining position has just sky rocketed and i anxious to findout if the Master puppeteers can pull off a maneuvers that would make Abdullahi Yusuf's achievements seem like child's play.
2011 looks to be a fascinating year.
AUN all the somali lives that get caughtup in somali politics.
