there is Somaliland angle to this sxb, wax fahan. The now departed regime of Egypt was strong anti Somaliland. Lets hope with the change comes also a new policy of understanding towards Somaliland' case of independence.

You do realise that they are just gonna replace him with someone like him or worse. Uncle Sam is always in it fo himself. The arabs have been caught in an ongoing cycle of corruption, ineptitude and laziness since the 12th century. I don't see things changing soon. The snake may shed it's skin, but it's still the same old snake. As for Somaliland, I hope so too. Lakiin, I prefer we got our independence the hard way (and much more likely way) of forcing/bribing the corrupt and incompetent Somali "government" of the south. Nobody will give you independence (unless there's a lot in it for them e.g. South Sudan) you have to take it.

There is a still one man who is strongly against Sland Mr Bashir of N.Sudan how ever he is feeling hurt at this time since his own country has ben butchered and perhabs his only objection was to pervert the cause of S.Sudan from gaining independence. He might be more then willing to go against AU at this rate out of spite and declare his support.

Who knows.

WE, the people of Somaliland support and welcome the independence of Southern Sudan. We look forward to the day we earn our rightful seat among the nations of the world. And we look forward to having strong relations with the newly formed republic of Southern Sudan.
