Is there such a thing as that as we saw in Egypt I believe what makes change possible in any society is its middle class and educated people as we have seen,so we are unending civil war for 20 years and its quite obvious to see the vacuum created by people leaving their country on its our of need those middle class people immigrated to the west where their chidreen today are 20 and 30 something where as back home sufering continous because we are all here and we left the poor and uneducated people to their demise in some cases even sending back money to fuel the caoes so well done those of us who realised the error of their ways and went back to help.

There is one major ingredient these youths had and which i am yet to see in Somalis (and if there is, they might be a minority) which is unconditional love for their country. Somalis put tribe before anything else and that would never work. When people learn that someone's name is a private matter and the country is for all, maybe then there is a hope!
