Do they really grow in the south?

ever heard of that back in the days .. somali banaans was worth more than gold ...we used to make alot of money exporting bananas

Yes there are loads of banana plantation all through out the south.

they used to get caambe, moos , qarre .. and all to the north from the plantations in the souht
