Zaydis do not insult the Sahabah, and while saying that Ali should have khaliifa, do not insult Abu bakr or Cumar. They also do not believe in these fairy tale of tahriif of the quraan, nor the other absurdities found in 12ers theology.

They are still mutazli though, which means they are still deviant. But they are the best of the shiicas

You do know that the majority of Sunni were Mutazili up to the 11th century and only became Ashari in the 11-12th century.

You do know that the majority of Sunni were Mutazili up to the 11th century and only became Ashari in the 11-12th century.

Not really. The mutazili only gained ascendancy for a period, due to the calipha like their works. They then preceeded to become marginalized again, in the end being intellectually demolished by ahlussunah. The mutazilis were censured by all the major Imaams of Sunnah
