Democracy In the middle-East

Post by Kukri »

There is a storm seeping through the middle-east that will bring about the end of despots, with the blessing of people cough-up in the hysteria of a revolution. the mantra is freedom and more rights and democracy is the mode of transport and the camel that will see to its rightful destination.
So what kind of democracy will be best suited for the middle-east?

Western democracy is seen as the ideal form of democratic governance, and its these brand of democracy turned into a commodity, tailored for foreign export Muslim countries are expected to adopt. But can a Godless system accommodate or cater for those who beleive in God? A secular system based on atheist ideology that places absolute freedom and unrealistic individual rights above the collective well-being will only serve to undermine society and erode the fabric that separates man from beast.

In a nutshell,...Democracy is a euphemism for debauchery and a bait intended to deceive the masses with promise of greater freedom and therefore has no place in Muslim society.
