Libyan situation puts Somali identity in perspective

Post by Monk-of-Mogadishu »

You're Black.

I can imagine the confusion among some Somalis today; can you imagine a Somali Libyan with a mob of angry Libyans going out to hunt Eritrean refugees, and in the middle of the chaos one of the Libyans looks at the Somali and says, "keleb habashi!" Imagine the look of confusion on that little skinny's face. I wonder how Alluring would fare in all this chaos.

:?

Those Libyans are purging their country of all niggers; Chadians, Sudanese, Somalis, Eritreans, Ethiopians, even dark-skinned Libyans aren't safe - the niggers gotta go. By jumca this week it'll be declared Nigger-Free Friday.

The funny thing is that this isn't white people, southern Europeans or Khaleejis killing Somalis, its Libyans who are pretty much racially borderline. So even among the brownest of people we are still Black. If light-skinned Eritreans are being labeled as Black over there then we must be like Dinkas to them. :D

The even sadder thing is that Somalis know they're black once they step out of Somalia; but even Northern Sudanese are getting butchered, their communities must be having nervous breakdowns right now about identity crisis - that a Berber Libyan is killing a so-called Arab for being Black.

There were many African merceneries fighting on the side of president Gadhafi and actually some African countries are sending troops to support president Gadhafi and this is what has triggered the backclash against all African blacks in Libya. Many Somalis lost their life and the outcry has already reached the leaders of the opposition movement. They have promised to do something about it. I am hearing Simbabweans, Ereterians, Ethiopias, and citizens of many western African countries are being targetted due to their countries supporting the current President Gadhafi. The Libyan ambassador to Somalia has stated that there will be no further atrocities against Somalis. Let us pray and hope that no Somali will experience in further atrocities.

Funny how you are now all of a sudden pro-black, when you once came here crying accusing a bunch of poor African American boys of stealing a piece of clothing (your shorts) you left on your backyard? As if they'd be that low to wear something that was on your nasty behind. Who would possibly want semen encrusted shorts?

If we are all lucky for something in this lifetime it is not being born you. If I believed in reincarnation, I'd wonder what you did in your previous life to born in this condition.

Excellent post Monk. Indeed, Somalis need to realise they are black and need to stop believing they are arab or any other race, and we should be proud of our Blackness.

This has nothing to do with Somalis, even Egyptians, Tunisians and Banglandeshes are fleeing for their life.

Libyans themselves are sand niggers.
