Questions about Somalia

Post by SahanGalbeed »

When exactly is the mandate of the current TFG expiring ?
What's next ? I have read many of you here indicating your support {depending on your clannic affiliation} for Faroole of Puntland who is gonna "run "for president of Somalia , that farmaajo is going to do the same , that this guy or that guy is going to become the next president of Somalia .
My question is
-are elections going to be held ?
-when?
-what is the framework for naming or appointing the president in absence of popular elections?

Or is the current status -->"nothing can happen as long as al shabaab is active and God knows who the next president is going to be for none of us have a say in it "

Educate us people of Somalia about your politics :lol: {laughing coz I'm totally lost when it comes to it , not making fun of you}

^ You should just lynch yourself, really.

The worst pain to suffer is that of knowing the truth while trying to avoid it and pretend as if it isn't the truth.

The Truth: You are from Somalia and you are aware of the situation on the ground. You know the answers to every question you've asked.

The Pain: You're pretending to act like you don't know nothing about somalia, while you know that you're pretending to act like you have no clue, because 'apparently' you are not from "Somalia".

ASAK brother or sister I hope there is elections in Somalia open and free for the people to select there leader no matter what tribe they come from! The TFG mandate should be ending soon so this can be possible. I believe once Xamar is under the control and cleaned up the capacity of the Somali government to hold such free elections is in there range. Until the hurdle of the civil war is jumped I dont know what to expect. You answered your own question. By the way are you SomalI?

If a majeerten says like somalian boqor , Faroole is going to become the next president , a mareexan farmaajo , and another guy from another tribe his clansman , what's is the structure in place that gives them equal chance to the job ? If there are no elections , how is the next president {or any president} selected/appointed , I seriosuly don't know . Now either educate me or remain silent for YOU don't even know how YOUR president gets to become YOUR leader .

PS : well alright I think I am wasting my time with you , I'll wait for cirwaaq or somebody else . I know in Puntland it is a tribal majeerten council that nominates your leader , I am looking for answers as to how it goes for the president of Somalia .

ASAK brother or sister I read your post and looked at your location it seems it is a trend for the group who adovates SNM to speak of Somalia as a outsider and in reality they live inside it. So any answer any one gives to you is not enough except if it is only tribal rhetoric so I am sure you got your answer.

f-king iidoor bastards. Are you finally realising Somalia is becoming peaceful and that the Somalia national Army :som: is well over 18000 and still growing? TFG now controls Muqdisho over 85%. Not only Muqdisho the Somalia military also controls Gedo, Bay, Bakool, parts of Galgaduud, parts of Hiiraan, and parts of Jubbooying, soon they will control Somalia as a whole. So SHUT THE FUCK UP and let the Somalia military do there job.

Sahan

The TFG mandate is supposed to expire in August. The parliament gave themselves a 3 years extension, but Shariif is supposed to be done in August. However it looks like he will also try to extend his mandate.

If Shariif doesn't extend his term, then assuming nothing big happens, they'll have another set of TFG elections in August. Shariif, Faroole, Farmaajo, are some of the speculating names right now for Presidency
