Have patience saaxiib. The plan is to completely any semblance of al-Shabaab and in order to that you have to give them the option to re-organize themselves. It is military science 101. If the Doolow forces sweep through Gedo and Jubbooyinka in a matter of days, they will overlook many spots which would give al-Shabaab the chance to exploit. By taking their time, they will have the opportunity to close any gaps and cut off any supply. al-Shabaab will then have the ability to re-organize and attack again and once they are defeated, it is game over.
So let the remnants re-organize themselves, it is they that are suffering.

^^this makes more sense, Jubaland forces need to hold on to Gedo and exhaust al$habab offensives in that region before moving on to Jubbada dhexe & Jubbada hoose.

If my hand is forced, this is what is clear: It is Al Shabaab that is now on the offensive.
Be it in Mogadishu, Hiiraan, Galgaduud, Jubbada Hoose, and Gedo itself the anti-al Shabab alliance seem to be losing momentum by the day. We will know next four, five, or six days.
NB: If you don't agree with this assessment, go ahead and politely tell us what is your take. That is if you can write politely.

I'm actually surprised, Barre Hiraale the last two times massively overextended himself by trying to sweep in and take Kismayo right away. He may actually end up holding northern Gedo.
Capturing towns you can't hold is meaningless.

That's because, it is not his troops that are running the mission in Gedo now. Stay tuned, in just few days you will see the activities escalate and you will get answers to this undercover mission.

What will you reveal in few days that can't be revealed today?

And what difference does it make if it is his troops or others since they are all on the same side?

I must agree with archer on this one,if the point is to over throw shabaab why does the anti shabaab camp care about who does it,when they do it,and how they do it

This offensive has failed and will fail no matter who is at the helm.

It took al-Shabaab 2 years to take over southern Somalia, they have patience. If their opponents hope to stop them, they should be as patient.
Being impatient and wanting to take over the whole country right away is the fastest way to fail, not succeed.
