mashallah,amid doom and gloom portray of the somalis in the diaspora.seeing those young kids memorize the entire quran at such a tender age not only makes the one optimistic about the possibility of a bright future for Somalia, but also determined to finish the quran like those dhalaan that most of yall can be father/be mother.

mashallah, Allah o ziyadiyo and keep the quran in their hearts.

i now personally how easy to memorize and how easy to loose it. i memorized the third times at age 10 and at age 14 God only knows how i struggled to keep it. until i was sent back home in the miyi, cause dad thought tv, soccer etc distracted me.

You can clearly see that the first lot of boys and girls are of Semitic stock, probably Dulbahante or Warsangeli. Look how beautiful the young boys are. While the second group are of Bantu-Nilote descent. I'd guess Marehan or Hawiye, with significant Majerteen admixture (due to the slackjawed handicapped look that's prevalent).

This juxtaposition is a great visual representation of the racial diversity within Somalia. From Caucasoid to Negrid.

Somalia already has a high percentage of Qu'ran hafidz. While it may spiritually fulfilling, it doesn't really help to advance the nation. They should also assist these students in being excellent in academics, as unfortunately Somalis in general and males in particular are lagging to say the least.
