What the Heck is Bohra Community?

Members of the Dawoodi Bohra community have celebrated the 100th birthday of their spiritual leader his holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burha-Nuddin Saheb. Thousands of Bohra faithful held processions in Mombasa and Nairobi to mark the occasion.

They are a Shia community and are very successful in East Africa they mostly deal in trading raw materials used for constructing buildings.

I maybe wrong but I believe the origin of the community is in Sind province of Pakistan. Bohras are commercial oriented and mostly own shops(generalising here) and most are kachi of Gujuratis.
