About a year ago on local Somali TV, some cocky Emjay was bragging about some fictional towers awaiting construction across Puntland. I thought this old coot was just crazy. Below is just one of the towers that were going to be built, out of about a dozen very impressive looking buildings (for Somali standards anyway), this was one of the very few times in my life I truly doubted Emjay abilities.





And as I'm skimming the interweb, I came across a story about Puntland security operations in Bosaso; but check the background to the top left, the construction poster tells us a little story.
