Libya's Gold Reserves
Amiir Qaddafi hold huge reserves of gold, $7 Billion inside Libya. His Excellency, Amiir Qaddafi can finance a war against the lackey, terrorists, filthy opposition for quite some time. This cunning fox will either offer lead or gold to the opposition. He can recruit friendlies from all over Africa to suppress the lackeys insurgency.

You lot embarrassed us at Dhobley.
Shiid, if Iljeex had the same kinds of resources, they would be seizing Lampedusa as they pursue Rer Benghazi.

I know a family called the Sanussis - good people. Anyway I heard the Senussi were a group of Salafi monarchs, if so, they've got my support.gurey25 wrote:Ihavr to admit i have not been impartial,

Even though I don't exclusively follow any madhab (from a family of Shafi'is) I was always inclined towards the Hanbalis and have a soft spot for the salafis. That being said I read lot's of books from a range of scholars/intellectuals from Ibn Rushd to Ibn Taymiyah. I have never had any ill-will towards our sufi brothers.

google them, udun wrote:Who are the Sannusi? I have never heard of them before today.
They started in the eastern region cyrenaica, a sufi tariqa, that spread all over the sahara from nigeria to sudan..
During World war 1 they invaded egypt and fought the british and inflicted some defeats on them...
They were the centre of the resistance to the Italians, and the first king idriis was the grandson of Alsaunnis the founder of the order.
The flag of the rebels contains the flag of the sanussi int he middle, the black part with the cresent.
