Is this a joke? Cabudwaaq can't accommodate this sort of thing. They can't host a national conference under a tree or in a cariish. The town mosque is perhaps the only place in the city you can host more than 15 people. This is about physical reality, not social suitability.

Ahlu Sunnah's formation in Caabudwaaq at Hotel Shirdoon, which gave an organization to the most serious Somali-led challenge to Al Shabaab and united the most war prone and violent clans of Somalia.

These sufis are trying so hard to hide their burbur. Its an fact that they broke into two camps, and shabaab will defeat them soon(if their awliyah amxaaro dont come for rescue).
And now they want to hold national conference as an united group?
The other part of suufis lead by hg whose hq is in Guriceel have rejected, rejected and rejected this.

Kasoo bilaw 1991 hadaad maqasho shir UN sponsgaraynayaan they desperately want to stop somali conference that could take place inside somalia. The more UN orgenise somali conferences the birth of new koox iyadoo kuwii horeba khaati laga taagan ayahay.
bal adigu dib ugu noqo 20 sanee u danbeeyey,

No, they have not and they are not divided anymore. The earlier maamul led by Sheikh Macalin Maxamuud (who was also chosen in Caabudwaaq) has now accepted the new maamul of Guureeye. Macalin Maxamuud's deputy Sheikh Awlibaax has said they are united and support the new maamul chosen again in Caabudwaaq.

Waa yaab, they said insanity is doing same thing over and over again expecting different results. Bal maxaa looga cararaya to hold any of the conferences in Somalia? Somalida ayaa loogu diidayaa inay dalkooda ku kulmaan oo fahmaan inay ku kulmi karaan which means less power for kuwa dabada ka maamula.
here is Farmaajo and Raila Odinga, Farmaajo saying we are not against meetings and conferences but we want it in Somalia

You don't need expensive hotels and besides the location is central, giving everyone equal opportunity to attend, safe and secure. Both Gerowe and Moqadishu can be rejected as prospective locations due to the lack of security.
Another Hotel bomb or car bomb is the last thing needed, Besided there is nother wrong with holding several mini conferences each enhancing the respective economy.
Those who have ulterior motives will find ways to present ilogical arguements to oppose a somali led solution.

Anigu waxaan is idhi UN in east Africa wants to continue their plunder of somali aid. Waxay ka baqayaan hadii shir somali u gaar tahay dhaco inay tahay suurta gal in xalkii somalida la helo, halkaana ay ku dhamaado macmacaankii Mahiga ka leefleefi jiray.

Rightwing,
That's basically it. The ones that stand to gain and have formed a cottage industry based in corruption and looting UN Aid for Somalia are making a fuss continuing their old habits. It will take many sacrifices to bring these criminal entities down. They won't go without a fight.

^ A Somali led and hosted event is more likely to indicate somali self confidence. If the Kenya's who almost incurred internal ethinic cleansing or the rwandan's where close to a million tutsis lost their lives managed to host internal conflict resolution conferences so can the somalis.
Remote solution by non somalis are and will always remain ineffective and contaminated with the agenda of non somalis.
Kenya 2010 rough figures:
POPulation = 40million
Gdp = $32.4Billion
Reserve = $3.94Billion
GDP by Sector:
agriculture: 19.7%
industry: 17.2%
services: 62.1% (2009 estimate)
Ethiopia 2010
POP = 85million
Gdp = $29billion
Reserve = $1.7billion
Gdp by sector:
agriculture 42.9%
industry: 13.7%
services: 43.4% (2010 est.)
Stable somalia will impact both Agriculture and services in the 2 countries, the Narcotics and alcohol crossing the borders will be controlled, the untaxed follow of fresh produce and other products will eventually diminish. Many somalis use Kenyan or ethiopian services sector as Somalia cannot provide it at this time. With ports closer to the middleast and the 2 southern rivers who would be able to get their products either by air or sea to the middle east? I wouldn't be surprised if the Ethiopians begin to interfere with the follow of the two rivers in the south from their source when somalia begins to regain stability. Somalia's own nile conflict.
Why would they commit suicide?

im happy to see a southern city of Somalia take the lead in the reconsiliation process of Somalia by hosting these types of conferences, and about Hotels, well Caabudwaaq doesn't have 5 star hotels, we have decent 3-4 floor hotels that can accomondate any visitors, so the arguement against caabudwaaq holding the conference is VOID. UN workers who get paid alot of money to do their job should not expect to get 5 star hotels in their work place, specially in a war torn state like Somalia, these guys aren't tourist remember.
