According to the TFG constitution:
Article 95. Qualifications to be President
The President shall be a Somali citizen of more than forty years of age, have the highest integrity and command the respect of the entire nation.

That's the age a person reaches complete maturity (i think ).

According to that video - the one where supposedly presidential candidates were debating - you also need to put down $50,000 in order to run for president in Somalia.

I wonder who that money actually goes to.

^ Are you sure? Last election it was $3000 or $5000. They call it a deposit so it I think they get the money back, but not sure. In Djibouti its $30,000

I have my own political party vision and goals. Twenty-Two is good enough...

somalis should boycott this
selection for the simple reason that we should get out of this never ending pseudo gov cycle by the UN and co.

if you don't even know where to sign up, what makes you think you can lead a great country like Somalia?

those are the kind of things you should be focusing on, not manly stuff like running for president.
