As I'm making my plans for this summer, I am writing a lot of whack ass cover letters. As I apply to internship after internship, they progressively get worse.
Hate these things.

Re: Cover Letters
Here is a funny but insane cover letter I found online a while back:
Dear Sir or Mam:
I believe I can do an outstanding job as a Business Development Associate.
My work experience includes managing various marketing functions at [Company Removed] and overseeing the hiring and management of interns.
I have outstanding writing and grammar skills and have written some outstanding marketing research and sales letters for different organizations. I can furnish you with my best writing samples upon your request.
I won 3 of my 4 elementary school spelling bees and it was here that I first made the newspaper with my picture. Years later, in the mid 1990s, my picture graced the papers many more times as an all-state and state champion runner. I am blessed by God.
In addition, my math skills are excellent and really consider myself a numbers guy. In elementary school, my flash cards multiplication skills set the standard for excellence. I have 3 semesters of calculus under my belt and was the co-captain of the calculus team.
My IQ is rated by tickle.com at 131. Combined with a good work ethic, I graduated 6th in my class and was the president of the National Honor Society. I also had the highest GPA in my class for science. I won the Bausch & Lomb Science Award and Xerox Social Science Award. In addition, I was the best athlete/scholar in my class.
If I can sell you on one thing on myself, it is my desire to work hard and be my best. I am extremely well-rounded.
Sincerely,
Crazy Guy
