The past few days were awkward. I've never seen so many damn Somalis in my city Walle! Maybe it's the Somali soccer tournament, IDK! but apparently some Ethiopian kid attempted to talk us into going out with him and his friend when we politely declined the offer he got all offended that he walked us to our car and started to throw a fit. He randomly started to call us "sharmuutos" with a broken accent. Luckily, Some random Somali guy walked by our car and noticed us arguing with the guy and stepped in. It turned into an all out fight. I felt screwed up that a guy that I've never met was about to get into an altercation all because of us. I'm never exchanging words again with random people as I'll never know what the other guy is carrying. What if Ethio guy had a heater on him and decided to pop a nigga? I actually LOVE Somali guys and their love for their fellow Somali sisters. My big ass mouth is gonna get someone hurt! I've gotta learn when to hold my tongue!

Anyways, this is a Somali appreciation thread. I'm not doing this just cuz ONE guy stepped in to help, I mean there are times when I'm on the side of the road with a flat or car accident waiting for my ride or the cops to come a Somali gentleman will ask if you're set or can they help! ..... I've always known that Somali girls AND guys are indeed our brothers and sisters..... I just wish the habros and odeyaal would STOP staring still ... Me opinion on the fiirso still stands, but overall, .

last time i got into trouble coz of somalinimo was 2007...somalis(about 200 students) vs sudan + plus arabs + asian gang...and we wiped out the whole area and them arabs were hiding for two weeks

it was back in college...football fight and a somali guy get stabbed after the game ...asian gangs are pussies they cant fight ..guess 200 students ( only 46 were from ma college the rest were gurmad from other universities and colleges ) and most of them were str8 out of somalia
it was going for two weeks that they have to put police around the whole area near the campus

I remember being in a similar fight with dozens of arabs bk in 2002.an arab guy assaulted the homie's mom and all hell broke loose that night as we massacred all the arabs in the neighborhood indiscriminately,even fat odayaal got slapped or bunch in the big belly as they talked shit to us.it took a police with tear gas to disrupt the fight which went on for at least good 1.5 hrs and almost hundred people were involved.

I remember running through Dubair international airport, going from one office to another in order to help two old elderly Somali women who missed their British Airways connection flight to London (They came from Hargeisa). They couldn't believe my generosity (it took us almost an hour to find help), but I was helping them cos of Somalinimo and for Allah's sake. I would intervene (And potentially get hurt) if I see a Somali (especially a lady) being beaten by someone.

One time this old Somali guy came up to me inside this little store and he asked me to help him find diabetic sugar.. I looked all around the store and couldn't find it.. I asked a shop assistant if they had it and they did not.. I told the miskiin and he had the most cutest yet saddest look on his face.. I told him I would check the little tesco's around the block *even though he told me not to bother* I had to do it because the miskiin wouldn't be able to enjoy his shaah.. Surprisingly Tesco's didn't sell it.. I must have gone into like 2 stores afterwards and AlhamdulilAh I finally found it.
I walked him home waliba *carrying his shopping*.. He kept making me dua.. Bless him!

I would help anyone in need out.. But for a fellow Somali I would definitely go that extra step!!
