Given that you have everything at your disposal; you have the military power, the political influence and your word is law.

Only 2 rules:

1. You can't drop a bomb and wipe them out.
2. There can never be any hope of a Somalia after the 12 months.

^^ Whenever Ethiopians come into Somali soil it somehow makes Somalinimo stronger so that would probably not work long term. Rule number 2.

Somalia is not destroyed now. There's these maamul goboleeds, the TFG is arguably popular, the people are eager for another chance at building a country. If anything this might be the biggest glimmer of hope since the ICU. Granted Puntland is in shooting range mode and Somaliland is still trying to get recognition but other than that and Al Shabab of course, the country is not doing too bad.

So how would you do it? Puntland just needs a bit of egging on and some military aid to the disgruntled qabiils and that will push them off the edge but that's not permanent enough. There's SSC vs Somaliland in the North, funding SSC and engaging in a full on war with Somaliland will damage the economy of Somaliland causing the entire north to go into chaos. Cut off the resources, the flour, the sugar, the electricity and the water, blame the other side, make it personal. In the south use Al Shabab to cull the population, indiscriminate killings, turn the people against them to rally support for a full on invasion, use that as a cover to destroy what infrastructure is left. Withdraw but without leaving any ready access to resources and leave a darood prime minister and an abgaal president in power. Sit back and watch history repeat itself.

With a bit more work and details I think this would work brilliantly.

Yeah but Somalis are patriarchal society so all kids the men have, with ajnabis, would still be Somali....unless you kill or castrate all the men thereby no more Somalis!! Patriot that is a good idea
