The centre of the ministry which suffered heavy ruin was recently renovated and is ready to operate, the director general of the ministry Abdisalam Haji Ahmed told RBC Radio.

Somalia had no functioning government since 1991 when warlords ousted the former regime of late president Mahamed Said Barre causing the closure of the government ministries.
