On the verge of boycotting Muslim businesses

Post by *Nobleman* »

Ok so I was always on that Jewish tip, where they would try their hardest to spend their cash at five different jewish owned businesses before going to a gentile as it were. I always felt compelled to help Muslim businesses, be it white, somali, asian, arab, whatever. But their lack of professionalism and customer service is seriously starting to piss me off. You go to an Asian chicken shop, he somehow serves the black and cadaan people before you thinking this Muslim brother can wait, you go to the somali owned xawaalad or mechanics, he tells you to come at 10, he opens like 3 hrs later. Same shid with the Eygptian owned cafe, always making you pay up front unlike they other non muslim customers. I don't know man, just needed to rant, shid seriously pisses me off. They need to learn the basic fundamentals of customer service and later they wonder why the non muslim businesses are successful and they close up after 3 months.

Not saying all muslim businesses are like this, maybe just the ones I have come across in London.

I feel you bro lol..to be fair though customer service doesnt exist with muslims, Somali's are even worst. Take the example of my local somali cafe, first few times i went there the service was nice. Nowadays they regularly serve me garbage on a plate, and if you try to complain you know what happens. I realised with muslim businesses once they get 'Comfortable' with you they think they can get away with anything. Dont get me started on them chiken shops, its got to the stage i will order some thing and ill find somethin completly different in the bag. When you complain they will smile 'sorry broda, have some wings'. could you imagine that happening in Mcdonalds etc..

But seriously forget customer service, they need to go learn some fiqh in how to do business. It was said someone i think Cumar (ra)'that none should set up in our market, except the one who knows the fiqh of transactions'

I could talk all day about this, especially when they start doing somersaults when a kafir comes in, after they had ignored you for 10 minutes.

I always had problems with my local somali restaurant, either taking forever making my food or offering me something I didn't order. I stopped going there when one day on my way to work I called in and ordered some rice and steak 30 min ahead of time, I get there to pick it up and this fucker goes "Pasta iyo chicken ayaan hayaa markaa iska qaado oo $10 iska bixi" and I say "laakiin waxaan dalbaday bariis iyo steak", and so he simply replies "haa taa waan gartay laakiin pasta iyo chicken iska qaado". I just walked away before I said something not so nice

That is my biggest beef. I understand if bad service was the norm, but when non muslims come through they turn into a gymnast, somersaulting like their only means for money came through.

Gatspy- i have like 10 stories similar to that

Grandpa yeah the one in Scarborough

Nobleman, apparently its normal for this to happen. I talked about it with my cousins couple of days later, and they all looked at me like I was the weird one. They basically said I should just take whats ready at the time.

  I remember when my aunt used to live in Wembley, sometimes she would ask me to buy Xalwo and somali cake from Xalwada Xaaji Yusuf. 3 out of the 4 times I went there the cashier would shortchange me by £1 or £2

My far the worst customer service experience its at Somali restaurants

I try to avoid all somali businesses at all costs. I was so pissed when my local meat shop got taken over by somalis (used to be Arab owned). The Arabs before used to treat me niiiice, always knocking a few pounds off the stuff I was getting and were always very friendly. These somalis that own it now...bloody #/%@#!. :x A while ago, all I was getting was 2 bags of haduudh...I went to the counter and the somali fella was like "Sorry, you need to spend a minimum of intaas oo gini to pay by card". I didnt have any change and it was pissing down with rain and the nearest cash point was a bit of a walk away. I was soaked when i entered the shop already and hes telling me to go to the freakin' cashpoint when it was raining cats and dogs!!! I wasnt expecting him to let me off and i would take the stuff for free or something, just let me pay by card!! He said, 'No' numerous times and told me to jog on, nacalaa. I swore id never go in there again after that but a few months later, I was on the bus home and hooyo called me. She was in need of some hilib and when i told her I was on so and so street she said...Haa, hadaba tukaanka hilibka ii si mar hooyo. I reluctantly entered and the somali guy at the hilib counter was serving 1 man. When he was done and saw me waiting.....for some fckin unknown reason he turned hes back on me and PRETENDED he was doing something else. I think he wanted to keep me in the shop for as long as possible because after that (all the pretending) he struck up a conversation with some other somali man and the other end of the shop. WTF! Fcking bastaadh still hasnt served me! When he finally looked at me as if to ask.."Haa walal, maxaan kuu keena?". I gave the idiot one ddddiiiirty look and walked out. I crossed the road to one of their rival meat shops...I hadnt been inside there before 'coz it was quite small and didnt really look like it had much. It was an Arab owned meat shop, the stuff was cheaper...and the people nicer. Never again am I entering that bloody somali shop again.
