Damn this is sad the psychological self-hate that is rampant in African-American communities..."light-skin"ded"/ "dark skin"ded"

It's not just AA's. There are Somalis who say stuff like that. I once heard a Somali mother say something very unflattering about her son and his dark skin infront of him. So not really. Asians have this issue too. Philipinos and Indians and Pakistanis scared to walk in the sun, seen them all.

These women got some issues, what does being light-skin mean? I mean it means jack shidh, your just another black person in the eyes of other people. Beside light-skin people turn dark skinned as they age, or as soon as they get a bit sun

Somalida are just the same if not worse....I remember talking to my nephew (8 years old) who has a mom that bleaches herself, I asked dude if he wanted to go to the lake and he response shocked me, he wasnt allowed to go outside when the sun is hot/warm because he will get darker and how he would be more beautiful if he was lighter, I will not be suprised if he turns out homosexual because the stupid mom programed the child with insecure women ideals. The thing is he would be "considered" lightskin in Somali standards naturally. I also have seen many guys drool over average light skin xaliimos and snuff dark skin beauties . It's truly a white mans world and the closer u are to him in terms of complexion and features, the bragging rights u earn as a non-white human amongst ur people. Another thing that we see here is snetters denying they're black (again skin complexion, not race/ethnicity) and everything to do with Africa, You saw the comment by generalSNM yesterday saying stupid sh!t like "who's the somali and who's the African in the pic) . I love their excuse even more when they say "we look down on cadaans too" which is equally as hilarious because nothing could be more further from the truth. I read many cringe worthy articles where educated somalis where saying stuff like "In somalia we even have people with pale skin and blue/green eyes" and all I could do was smh in shame.

Go to the Yahoo answers and see the comments/questions obviously posed by confused teenage girls who haven't mastered the art of masking their insecurity like many clever but equally as insecure somalis in the west do.

Even Arabs n Indians love to have really pale skin and they spend millions on it each year.

Go to Somalia and you will be shocked, people there are obsessed with bleaching themselves, and being light-skin, as for when it comes to girls, wallahi waa ruunta, they be like "she`s good looking, light skin and everything" that`s the first shidh that hits some niccas mind, mostly dark-skinned brothers I laugh everytime I hear a black person say " You got good hair, or Somalis got good hair" I mean wtf is good hair? sure most Somalis got soft curly hair, and it looks nice when you fix it, but there`s no such thing as bad hair is there?

I HAVE NO SYMPATHY FOR THESE WOMEN! DARK SKIN IS BEAUTIFUL AND THEY SHOULD EMBRACE IT!
BTW THE GIRL AT 1:42 IS BEAUTIFUL!

I didn't see this problem when I went to Somalia. It may be just some regions to be honest.

This is not just AA, it is every Non White racial grouping in the world with the possible exception of Asians.


I had a Sudani friend who brought home some girl he wanted to marry. After the girl met the family and left, His Parents called and and His Dad Said "yaa walad..ixna nunadif wa anta tuwasikh" meaning the mean before You only brought home light skinned girls while You are bringing a dark girl into the family. Infact in Sudan can You believe when You opproach a girl's family to marry, one of the things they will serioulsy look @ is complexion. Gulf Arabs if they cannot marry Europeans will all marry Syrians, Palestinians, etc. so they can get the Whitest possible. Indians have the same thing where Darker South Indians get looked down upon.


The funny thing is when You get to the absolute "utopia" with White You will see the Whites do the same thing in reverse, with tanning salons tryna get darker, getting surgery to make their lips bigger, braiding of the hair, etc. It seems very few people aduunkaan are truly secure in their looks.

There is DEEP inferiority complex within Somalida and ALL nations. Even white people, who love tanned-skin, never their pale skin. With that said, I think it has hit madows more than them. With them it starts with the hair, the skin, the lips, the nose? I mean flipping hell, what part of your body is saved?

And I hate it when they make references to Somalis, skin, facial structure, hair nose, body whatever. It just seems very sad. Yaa uu sheeg that really beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
