Adventure vs Stability
How many countries have you lived in? Would you want more, the same or less for your children?

Yes but what if it isn't just an adventure? What if you get a good opportunity in another country?hyperactive wrote:advanture is good when you single and young. but after yopu marry have family i guess stability what you need.BlackVelvet wrote:How many countries have you lived in? I know what you mean, lakin don't you feel like you'd be taking away the "stable home" part of your children's childhood?Leila25 wrote:Four countries. It is enriching, challenging and i love change, only money is restricting me or I would have left UK long time ago, inshallah i will one day.

No, i have fond memories of every house and area i have lived in. My childhood was stable. Children adapt well to change, i want them to see alternative lifestyle to the one in Europe, learn a new language etc, it will make them more rounded i believe.BlackVelvet wrote:I know what you mean, lakin don't you feel like you'd be taking away the "stable home" part of your children's childhood?

Re: Adventure vs Stability
Came to the UK when I was 2 years old, lived in the same house since 1993, apart from a year or two I lived with my brother. Honestly cant see myself living anywhere but London, I get home sick after a couple of months, maybe Hargeisa though.

Well I thought if I ever move for work-related reasons, it was common and most people leave the wife and kids at home
