Somalia: New Political Party Announced

After well organized and decorated ceremony in Lodon, Somali People's Party (SPP), headed by Pro. Saeed Isse Mohammed Wadani, was formed to join to the political arena in war-torn Somalia.
Addressing at the ceremony, the chairman of Somali People's Party (SPP) said that Somalia needs new political direction, adding the country has endured countless clan, political and religious related conflicts.
He said his party will work on the unity, justice and fair equality, noting that SPP is open for every Somali.
The new political party will hold discussions and consultations with the educated, scholars and the traditional elders about how the peace and tranquility could be brought back to the country, the chairman was quoted as saying.
