Role of Mayor Tarzan in Mogadishu Uprising

It is amazing how Mogadishu uprising has reached the Somali Diaspora and even inspired other such demonstrations (Nairobi, other parts of Somalia etc).

Was it a spontaneous action of people or careful organization of the masses by Tarzan and Farmaajo?

For those who dont know Tarzan, he is an apt people's organizer/mobilizer and has mobilized hunderds of Somali Diasporas against the Ethiopian occupation and A.Yusuf's warlord government. He was a heavyweight in London, and was the hand behind most demonstrations back in 2006-2008.

When he became mayor of Mogadishu he succeeded to organize the people in the 6 degmo the TFG controlled to stage demonstrations for peace and against extremism and warlordism. His short rule brought communal life back to the 6 degmo. M.dheere was even arrested because of him opposing the popular demands of Mogadishu people when his militia shot at demonstrators.

Today, Mogadishu people are demonstrating and AMISOM can do nothing, which means the international community can do nothing to enforce their will upon Somalia. The only group that can distort the popular demands of the people are the extremists who can use this opportunity to implant bombs and other terrorist actions.

Tarzan did not organize these protests. People are sick and tired of the TFG games.

Its not that Farmaajo is an angel but he stands up to the status quo. People are frustrated at Sheik Sharif and Sakiin, AMISOM and all the other idiots.

Even if Farmaajo cuts a deal that doesn't satisfy the demonstrators, they won't stop.

True, I think no matter what this is gonna continue in Mogadisu, ppl are gonna demand what they want. Personally I'm not a fan of protests. Property gets damanged, looters start causing chaos, etc.
