Farmaajo Refuses Order From The Top Ugandan Gen To Step Down

Post by Murax »

Including the highest raking AMISOM officials. He also refused to go with them to Uganda to meet with the Ugandan Pres.

Ra'iisul wasaaraha Soomaaliya oo ku gacan-sayray dalab xukuumadda Uganda ay uga codsatay inuu iscasilo

Axad, June 19, 2011 (HOL) – Ra'iisul wasaaraha Soomaaliya Maxamed Cabdullaahi Maxamed (Farmaajo) ayaa gaashaanka ku dhuftay codsi saraakiil uu horkacayay taliyaha ciidamada dalka Uganda ay uga dalbadeen inuu xilka iska casilo, sida ay sheegayaan ilo wareedyo ku sugan xafiiska ra'iisul wasaaraha Xukuumadda KMG ah.

Mudane Farmaajo, ayaa la sheegay inuu maalmihii lasoo dhaafay xafiiskiisa kula shirayay shan sarkaal oo ka socda dalka Uganda kuwaasoo siday fariin uu Museveni kaga codsanayay ra'iisul wasaaraha inuu xilka isaga casilo muddo saddex maalmood ah.

"Waxaad tihiin nabad-ilaaliyeyaal waana inaad howshiina ku ekaataan... Xal u helidda siyaasadda Soomaaliya waa mid u taalla Soomaalida," ayay warbaahinta qaarkood kasoo xigteen inuu ra'iisul wasaaruhu ugu jawaabay saraakiisha ka socday dalka Uganda.

Taliyaha ciidamada Uganda Jen. Aronda Nyakairima oo ahaa hoggaamiyaha wafdiga ka socda dalka Uganda ayaa la sheegay in ra'iisul wasaaraha uu ka codsaday inuu u raaco dalka Uganda si uu ula soo kulmo madaxweynaha dalkaas, balse mar kale ayuu Farmaajo ku gacan-sayray codsigaas.

Heshiis todobaadyo ka hor ay ku gaareen dalka Uganda madaxweyaha Soomaaliya Sheekh Shariif Sheekh Axmed iyo afhayeenka baarlamaanka Shariif Xasan Sheekh Aadan ayaa dhigayay in ra'iisul wasaaraha Soomaaliya uu xilka isaga casilo muddo bil gudaheed ah, kaddib markii uu guddoomiyuhu sheegay inaysan 12-ka bilood ee soo socda wadashaqeyn karin xukuumadda iyo baarlamaanka.

Ra'iisul wasaaraha Soomaaliya Maxamed C/llaahi Farmaajo ayaa shir jaraa'id oo uu tododbaadkii hore ku qabtay Muqdisho ku sheegay inuusan xilka iska-casilayn ayna isaga iyo golihiisa wasiirradu go'aansadeen inay dalka iyo dadka Soomaaliyeed u shaqeeyaan inta xildhibaannada baarlamaanku ay go'aan ka gaarayaan heshiiskii Kampala.

Kulammadaas natiijo la'aanta ku dhamaaday kaddib ayuu ra'iisul wasaare Farmaajo wuxuu kulammo albaabbadu u xiran yihiin la yeeshay madaxweynaha Soomaaliya Sheekh Shariif, kuwaasoo salka ku hayay wadahadalladii dhexmaray ra'iisul wasaare Farmaajo iyo saraakiishii ka socday dalka Uganda.

Ma jirto wax war ah oo weli kasoo baxay illaa laba kulan oo ay madaxweynaha iyo ra'iisul wasaaruhu yeesheen illaa xalay.

Xukuumadda Uganda ayaa waxaa Soomaaliya ka jooga 5,000 askari kuwaasoo qayb ka ah howlgalka AMISOM, waxaana madaxweynaha Uganda uu horay ugu goodiyay inuu ciidamadiisa la bixi doono haddii aan DKMG ah ee Soomaaliya muddo hal sano ah loo kordhin xilliga ay shaqeynayso.

The gall of that former African rebel leader to think he is the colonial Governor of Somalia. He sends his commander of armed forces to Mogadishu to tell Farmaajo to come with the Ugandan general to Kampala and when Farmaajo said no, tells him to resign within 72 hours or Uganda will take its troops. Who is Museveni? And who told AMISOM to interfere in the political affairs of the nation? I am glad Farmaajo told that buffoon no both times.

It is everywhere. He told them phuk you both times. No to resigning and no to going to meet that rebel leader who is president of a country the size of Gedo region.

You are peacekeepers, know your mandate and get the phuck out of Somalia's political affairs was the response delivered to Museveni via his commander of the armed forces.

Abdi, what happened to you in these days? You are becoming gullible and naive like the Qabil worshipers above. Farmaajo was only recently celebrating the AMISOM advances in Muqdisho. He greeted their soldiers and presented them with gifts. He Is only against them because he wants power, not because they are foreigners, or because they killed thousands of SomaliS. If he was a patriot he wouldn't celebrate everytime Ugandands capture parts of Somali capital.

Farmaajo is not against AMISOM. AMISOM are peacekeepers and those "parts" of Mogadishu captured are captured from Al Shabaab. Now if you support Al Shabaab can you tell us so we can send a link to what security agency works in your country?

Farmaajo is against political interference. AMISOM's job description is to protect the TFG as a whole and not interfere in its political dynamics, that is what he is reminding Uganda.

As for your negative nancy mode, take it to the Somaliland section. We know you are among those who believe Somalia in civil war helps Somaliland.

I applaud what he did

lakin the reality is that he gave the finger:
1- his salary payee (UN)
2- his security provider (AMISOM)
3- his employer (the president)

Does he have any political maneuvering space left? Can he survive without the above mentioned three players. Maybe bring in Arab League or China?

At this stage, I think this guy realizes his calling. Some people are tested with history and I think Farmaajo realized the situation is beyond whether he continues to be prime minister or not. Somalinimadi and sense of pride in being independent politically and able to move on nationalistic principles is what he wants to leave behind with the Somali people and especially reer Mogadishu.

I think he now knows whether he resigns now or goes down with the current TFG mandate, either way he will not be in his position for long. I sense he has stopped thinking about his own self and those around him and wants to leave a legacy behind that empowers the Somali people to unite and fight for good governance.

This slap in the face to Museveni wasn't done because he believes he will be secure in his position, but because he wants to herald a new era where he expects Somalis to call for their leaders to look out for the nation's interest first.
