Kudos to UAE

Built their country up, exploited their resources, overcame their tribal differences to form a strong political union, and now they are the wealthiest per capita and most powerful investment nation in the world. :up:

UAE, a country which was built by semi slave Asian workers kept in inhumane conditions.
UAE is the only country in the world, so scared of its local population, including the thousands of abused workers, that it made a deal with Blackwater. A mercenary force comprised of elite thugs from around the world are currently being trained in the dessert, and at the helm of this mercenary force is the Prince.

I always advocated for an emirate-style federal framework for Somalia. Puntland reminds me of UAE, many clans overcoming differences to build a progressive state.

The strong foundation of UAE was largely created by Shiek Zayed AUN. The closest man Somalia had to man of his caliber was MSB, but he was overthrown by ingrates. The foundations he laid were also totally destroyed. The UAE emirates work very closely together and very cohesive. I doubt Somalia or Puntland will ever achieve that.
