Re: Seattle, Somali Rap Capitol?
They are only losers til they make it, then we somalis hop on the bandwagon.
K'naan was a loser when I was promoting his sh!t in 2004 then when he became known, he was everybodies cousin
My point is we never believe in ourselves because of insecurity, ever heard of the phrase "war kaan waa somali xun" or "alla somali necbiyaa"
Name a race that downtalks their own like we do? it's a trick question because you wont find it.

Losers. K'naan is a loser too.
The MOST pathetic people on EARTH are the self-proclaiming "Muslims" or "Somalis" that decided to imitate the losers of all losers (African Americans and the Hip-Hop life).
Why they can't speak proper english? Why can't they dream of becoming successful in life in the RIGHT WAY?

My friend is trying to open up a shiisha/hookah spot and I ask people opinion on it and they were like, I ain trying to go where all the somalis are at.
The irony is that, it be nothing but somalis on arab/habashi shiisha owned, they rather spend their $20 on a place they're not even respected.
KOW...all I heard was blah blah blah "why cant they be white, why cant they act like cadaans" etc and please dont start with "when does becoming successful equal cadaan", believe it or not your subconscious just spoke for you there and you weren't even aware of it.

Cadaan?
I never said anything about them being Cadaan.
There are tons of ethnicities that came to America and the only ones that are imitating the BLACKS are the Somalis, from Africa. Not ALL ethnicities from Africa, Middle East, or even Asia try to imitate the Blacks. Only the Somalis.
Why can't they produce the likes of Zain Bhikha?
Advo, you're the one who thinks K'Naan is "something", when he's NOTHING.
