I have read " the world is flat" a very interisting book about globalization and the new world.

Masha'Allah I need to add some Islamic readings on my list. I also wanna check out that book on Somalia u posted

Novels just don't interest me anymore.

I can kinda guess what On China is about. What are the other two fiction, non fiction?

"White City" is historical fiction, while Lincoln Lawyer is fiction

On my bedside table right now is Koestler's timeless memoir: Arrow In The Blue.

On my wife's table lamp is Mencken's classic book: Chrestomathy

On the bed of my third mistress is Muhammad Abdul Wahab: I Am A Drunk

I'm taking two english classes (one Shakespeare and the other postcolonial women writers around the globe)...so I have tons of readings to do...I bought 8 books yesterday wallahi no kidding :x :cry:

The world is flat was recommended to me by my professor, but I didn't think I was going to like it. Anybody read it?
