In January, former La Trobe University PhD candidate and part-time Silver Top Taxis driver Abdirahman Mohamed Farole, 63, became president of Puntland.
Farole, who has spent much of the past 10 years living in Melbourne's northern suburbs, has been critical of Range's dealings in his homeland, and the company's share price slipped on news of his election win this year. Until early last week, that is.
He was a taxi driver yesterday and u must accept that.

Faroole is the most educated of all 3, he holds a PhD.

Does Silanyo know Algebra? Really, I'm just wondering. I'd hate to be led by someone who can't do the math of an 11 year old mind.

He's got a masters Degree in Economics, Faroole was a candidate in History. Which of the two would you want to be led by

Oh yeah, I forgot the time when he was the Minister of Planning. How does one go from Public Planner to warlord in the bush overnight?
[BTW, Faroole was head of the Central Bank of Somalia, his math skills are just fine]

Don't forget Minister of commerce. Wether he was in the Bush or not, he was never locked up and never ran away from his country/region. As far as Faroole, i want to see an official document please, video, historical records, anything that proves he was the actual head of that Bank.

Don't forget Minister of commerce. Wether he was in the Bush or not, he was never locked up and never ran away from his country/region. As far as Faroole, i want to see an official document please, video, historical records, anything that proves he was the actual head of that Bank.

He was never the head of Central Bank, he was once a Director and important figure in the Commercial & Savings Bank. But I wouldn't brag about Faroole's record in Somalia's financial institutions, my father and adeer (Dad's cousin) kicked him out of the Savings & Commercial Bank in the 1980s. Even Said Barre praised the dismissal of Tuuga Faroole.
