Why Is JULY 1st More Important Than JUNE 26th?

I've noticed that majority of Somalis consider July 1st, 1960 to be MORE significant than June 26th, 1960. :|

Why is that?

26 june is not significant at all. can u tell what major event took place that day?

1st july a entire nation was born.

JUNE 26 is important the First day a Somali Region Gained independence & The First Day a Somali Flag was raised on Somali Soil..

July 1st is a fucked up day and should be a dead day remembering the EPIC failure that is zoomalia I'm so happy my ancestors rejected that shiz. Now look who has da hishest GDP and only success amongst somalis
