Someone was arguing that "sheikh" Shariff is kitaab xoor(someone who starts off as religious but ends up "throwing" the book). Look how he started in 2006 and where he is now.
christians call it "backsliding".
there are plenty of kitaab xoor or kitaab tuur among ordinary somalis.
This is not political but religious topic. don't bring in al shabaab and other nonsense.

Shaekh Sharif is a hypocrite. The days that he was leading the Islamic courts, he was accusing dukhii maxaas ahaay magaciisa. that he is a stooge and gaalo raac because he brought amxaryaal into Somalia, now that it's his turn to sit on the seat, he brought ganfuurs and thinks its ok. He was breathing fire and calling that old man every name in the book, so I believe we can call him every name in the book.

In 2006, Sharif was right in fighting against warlordism.
In 2011, Sharif is right in fighting religious radicalism

Unless, you are going to claim that either the status quo or warlordism was right, then you simply have no case and trust me overwhelming majority of the folks claiming that Sh Sharif is hypocrite for standing up against Shabab are either petty clannists engaging in mudslinging or closet shababists; that or simple-minded idiots that are naive to understand the insinuations being made.

I think you are the simpleton here.

I am not familiar with the word Kitaab xoor and its implications. But Sheikh Sharif is for sure a changed man, you forgot to mention that he was also fighting foreign troops in Somalia, there is also a long list of statements he has made that is contradictory. You can find them on youtube, hes before and after TFG2 statements. He was also protesting and holding rallies in Mogadishu against the proposed Amisom mission at the time, today he's security consists of Amisom forces. Not to mention the Jihad he declared against Ethiopia, 2 years later as the President of Somalia he frequently dines with Meles Zenawi while Ethiopian troops on many occasions abuse Somalia's sovereignty by entering certain regions and at times killed civilians. Even a 10 year old kid in Somalia would be able to tell you that Sharif has changed.
