When I was five I went for a walk with my grandma, and some locals found a prisoner who escaped and killed him. When we arrived at the scene he was strung over a rope thing like a piece of clothing, his balls and his head were missing. Another time some dude fought our neighbor, a sheriff, and the sheriff called his boys to tie the guy up and line tires around his body for some good ol' fashioned human barbecue.

No, this shit happened EVERY DAY in Nairobi, ask any of the ex-qaxooti kids here. It wasn't exactly a pleasing sight to see but we saw it plenty. The tradition was to roll the person up in tires and set the tires on fire. This was normal acceptable civil behavior, its called mob lynching, even police backed away when the process began.

Paidmonk, I've never been to Kenya eventhough I have relatives there who have been living there for decades, nor do I ever intend on visiting. In addition, I am not hawiye or Darood and my escape route was to Ethiopa. If you find this normal and have witnesses this at such a young age I'm quite surprised that you ended up ok-ish so fat.
