Michele Bachmann became the first presidential candidate to sign a pledge created by THE FAMiLY LEADER, an influential social-conservative group in Iowa. By signing the pledge Bachmann “vows” to “uphold the institution of marriage as only between one man and one woman” by committing herself to 14 specifics steps. The ninth step calls for the banning of “all forms” of pornography. The pledge also states that homosexuality is both a choice and a health risk. You can read all the details of the pledge here.

If this is her platform, then I prefer this brand of religious "nut" to the godless variety polluting politics. I don't care if she thinks the devil sings country music to her as long as it means two men aren't calling each other their husband.

A similar "god inspired" nut was responsible for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
As for your last question, I am largely ambivalent on that subject. I don't support it but I don't think the U.S government has the constitutional authority to ban it either.

Fair, maybe I should sift through the rest of her political agenda and see if there's any mention of going to war with Muslim countries before throwing my support behind her
