Bur saliid miyaa? Some call it kutumboow, kashaati, they call it mandazi in Kenya I think.

Yeah the tiny ones with xabasuud sometimes, if you use lemon and honey to coat it, it tastes great.

Those things are bad news.
I like them with sambuus too, its like they were meant that way. By themselves? I don't remember picking up one by itself and eating it. He's talking about the smaller, cookie ones though, I think. They're a bit harder and not as fluffy as the regular mandazi. Mombasa street food was epic. Good, good food @ ridiculous prices. Tangawizi with some sugar cubes, fried yams with chillis, mandazi, sambuus, etc.
