if i was living northern sweden in july next ramadaan will be JuLY then i have excuse not doing fasting because the Sun never sets downs. 24 hours qoraxda waa soo jeedaa.

haddii aysan jirin xadiiith ama aayad quraan ah oraneyna fast whit your nearest muslim country then i can fast my own version whichs Fast 2 hours then AFUR. sababtooo ah anyway the sun will never goas down. marka maxaan u sugayaa waqti dheeer.

calaa ku xaal this year stockholm will be 18 hours ramadaaan fasting and 6 hours Dark waa la soomi karaa dhib maaha. laakiin next year ramadaanka wuxuu ku soo aadayaaa middle of july dadka deggan KIRUNA north sweden magaalo ah soomali baddan ayaa deggan halkaa waa qorax kama dhacdo. marka iam looking WADAAAD xadiiis raadiya ee ku saabsan arintaas.

OR OUR RELIGION IS ONLY BASED TROBICAL regions of the world and north pole circel areas?.

Yalaxoow,
Question:

Assalaamu alaikum I live in western coutry where the summer days are longer and even sometimes the sun shines for 24h a day . We have been fasting ramadan months the summer according to the time of Makka and then fast again the same month the winter time to make sure we won't miss any . I would like to know if that is ok also like fasting the mondays and thursdays and the days of full moon it is very important to my family and i to keep tight to islam in all ways possible. All this is according to our time but when the summer comes we can't fast 23 to 24h so we do it Makka time . Also it is important to fast Ramadan same time with all muslims when it is in summer inshaallah. Hope you to help us in this matter jazakumullah khair.

Fatwa:
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

If the sun shines for 24 hours a day in your country and never sets, then you should fast and break the fast according to the timing of the nearest country to you where the sun rises and sets; this applies to obligatory and supererogatory fasting.
However, if the fasting person finds hardship in fasting to an extent that he is unable to continue the fasting due to the extreme length of the day, then it is permissible for him to break the fast according to the necessity only [and not eat his fill] and then make up for that day whenever he is able to do so. As regards supererogatory fasting, one is not obliged to make up for the day he broke the fast.
For more benefit, please refer to Fataawa 83637 and 89463
Allaah Knows best.

Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) mentioned of the Dajjal one day in the morning. He sometimes described him as insignificant and sometimes described (his turmoil) as very significant (and we felt) as if he were in the cluster of the date-palm trees. When we went to him (to the Holy Prophet) in the evening and he read (the signs of fear) on our faces, he said: What is the matter with you? We said: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) you mentioned the Dajjal this morning (sometimes describing him) as insignificant and sometimes very important, until we began to think he was present in some (nearly) part of the cluster of the date-palm trees. So he said: I harbour fear in regard to you in so many other things besides the Dajjal. If he comes forth while I am among you, I shall contend with him on your behalf, but if he comes forth while I am not among you, a man must contend on his own behalf and Allah will take care of every Muslim on my behalf (and safeguard him against his evil). He (the Dajjal) will be a young man with twisted, cropped hair, and a blind eye. I compare him with AbdulUzza ibn Qatan. He who among you will survive to see him should recite over him the opening verses of Surah al-Kahf (xviii). He will appear on the way between Syria and Iraq and will spread mischief right and left. O servant of Allah! Adhere (to the path of Truth). We said: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him), how long will he stay on Earth? He said: For forty days, one day like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week, and the rest of the days will be like your days. We said: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) will one day's prayer suffice for the prayers of the day equal to one year? Thereupon he said: No, but you must make an estimate of the time (and then observe prayer)

Sahih Muslim Hadith 7015 Narrated by An-Nawwas ibn Sam'an
this hadith is daliil, how to estimate is up to the scholars.Allahu waclam.
