Iskushuban district named as first drilling Site

The district of Iskushuban has been named as the first drill site by Africa Oil Corp. The district lies at the heart of the Dharoor basin, which stretches from Bosaso on the Gulf of Aden to Bender Beyla on the Indian Ocean. The district is also shared by the fishing towns of Bargaal, Hurdiyo, and Xafuun. Since January 2010, the mayor of Iskushuban town has been carrying out security checks; it was the people of Iskushuban years ago who prevented the first drilling attempt - preliminary mineral surveys have also been done to ensure that the site is in fact possible to penetrate.

I see potential for a resort popping up on the Xafuun peninsula one day.

Nah I don't see how shuban could ever be made to sound attractive. Maybe if they added a couple of letters "shuubhaan" or "shub" or something that isn't literally xaar.
