Probably the best article I have ever read!
Regarding Somaliland, from the most unlikely source the Daily Mail.

Sums up everything wrong with foreign aid.
Walahi truth be told, even being non political myself, Somalilands achievements must be hailed and seen as the model for the rest of Somalia. God willing the south follows suit and raises once again.

I agree no to foreign aid and foreign interference.
However congrats to Somaliland.
Reality is it is hard for the south to accomplish such things cos every foreigner wants their hands on the south. I guess having natural resources is a curse in itself. What we are forgetting is human resources are the best resource one can have.If there is nothing in it for the World Bank and the IMF then it will never get recognition.

Disturbing but whatever rocks ur boat.'We are fighting the same enemies as you and share the same values of peace, democracy and humanity. Recognise us, and we could do so much more together.'
However congrats to Somaliland.

I endorse the notion of not giving Somaliland any aid money.

I don't like how they are comparing Somaliland to Somalia in terms of development and security. Somalis are Somali regardless of the place they inhabit. We all know Somali people are gifted business owners and investors which leads to healthy economy. Aid to africa equals exploitation of indigenous resources. You can't go any aid without promising to give something in return. That is how the ish works.

Our people from the south can say some negative stuff about Sland and it's people for reasons we all know but there's no doubt they think better than us and know their interests.
Give the devil his due & Call a spade a spade.
Let's fix our own shit first then only after that can we think whether unity is attainable yet or not.
