He did not ruin it; it is the western sanctions that ruined the country. How can you have an small minority owning 80% of Arable land in Zimbabwe? From the day that Zimbabwe took independence, Mugabe was pursuing land reform and western powers and their banking system was delaying it. Eventually, he was fed up with empty promises and acted upon it. That was when the sanctions and attacks on him and the Zimbabwe has started by the west. The last South African president was the man they want to tobble Mugabe but he refused and actually became an ally of Mugabe.
