So since I love cooking and I'm always looking for something new to make, I figured for those of you that also love to cook and learn few pointers should share their experiences in the kitchen. What are ur best dishes, favorite dishes, what do u like to do the most? Also, do tell the step by step of how to make whatever u post inshAllah :)

I believe Halfdzed and BlueNWhite both enjoy cooking...and of course, my self. Anyone else??? I think Voltage is there but not yet

Okay we will start with something elementary...something very simple and easy to follow:

You need several eggs, a sauce pan, three to four (depending on the amount of ur eggs) tablespoon (I prefer the tablespoon) of paprika, and a small amount of mustard.

-Get a sauce pan
-Place the eggs separately in the pan
-Add water that is a little above the tops of the shells
-cover and let it boil.

After it hardens...cool it down with cold water. Peel off the layers. Clean and cut them diagonally.

As soon as you do that...get a small bowl, take out all of the yolk part and put them in the bowl. Get a small amount amount of mustard (qiyaas) but I would say 2 tablespoons. You want to be able to taste the egg yolk but at the same time have a little hint of mustard in there...which makes it taste better. Too much of it is NOT good. Smash them together like u r smashing avocado. When you mix them well, get a spoon and place them back in the centers of the eggs...after u have placed them neatly, sprinkle the paprika on top of it (not too much).

I forgot what they call this...my Coworkers taught me...its American.

Lols Good one there.

Olive That looks great for a Sunday breakfast.

I am just having ma lunch,so i am gonna share ma spaghetti topping.

I am vegs freak,i rarely make a meal without some.

Ingredients i used
Mixed frozen vegs (i think this one had peas, carrots, cauliflower, corn)
Broccoli
tomatoes
green pepper
Bean sprouts
I did kinda stir fry all the ingredients, then let it simmer after adding some pickled banana peppers to add nice hot flavor. With that,u dont need much salt and it gives nice zesty taste as well.

Use that to have rice, pasta etc.

To make Somali friendly when i have others eating,i make chicken or salmon on the side.

I always make this easy Greek Salad.

1 tomato
1 onion
feta cheese
1 cucumber
olive oil
salt
olives
oregano.

Cut the tomato, the onion and the cucumber in slices. Mix them, add salt and some pieces of feta cheese, oregano and at the end pour some olive oil. It's so easy to make and so delicous.

What is this nonsense? I thought all we ate was baris in basto. Where is this 'grean leaf' and 'carrot juice' recipes emerging from? Anyways here is mine.

Get a kettle, fill it with water and place it on the stove.
Throw 5-8 eggs, let it cook for 15 min and eat it. Easy right?

Same thing for beans, and brown rice.
