What's going on in Syria?

Post by sexy-kitten »

I was watching breaking news yesterday on CNN and the Syrian secret police killed about 145 men and were throwing them off the bridge after slaughtering them. They even had a video of the blood gushing out of those men's throats while throwing bodies down one at a time. The secret police are doing this to "overthrow" the government. Pretty creative way to do so if i must say! :o

Yea yea yea, I know.... I shouldn't talk about others when my own country is on life support but it's world news, what should I do?

The general census is that majority of Syrians support their government. Only a few are still high on the “Arab” revolution and are undermining the current government. The Syrian community in Australia held a protest and astonishingly they were pro-Assaad

Haven’t you seen the massive Pro-Government rallies in Syria in numerous cities? This man is well respect and received in Syria, those calling for political reform are opportunist and shall be dealt with effectively.

I know this Syrian girl from school, her father is Ammar Abdulhamid, a Syrian dissident who has been exiled from Syria since 2005. He's been going on all the major news networks about how big the opposition is. There's a lot of Syrians protesting at the White House every Satirday. The embassy video taped the protest so they could identify people and if they came back to Syria, they'd be silenced.

Oxidant, there have also been "massive" anti government rallies across the country too. I don't think it is possible for the likes of you and I to know how many people support the government and vice versa. Can you prove that onyl a few suppor the government and the majority support it?

ps.It is interesting to note that love many Somalis have for Arab dictators.

Far what are you saying? Most Syrians oppose the government?

I'm confused, Oxidant... Which one is it? Are the Syrian citizens for the government or are they against it? Time to do thorough research lol.

Btw Qoraxeey the president is not to blame for this craziness. It's the secret police.

Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Jodan are all destabilizing Syria because it is the last Arab nationalist government that is standing. Most of the killings were done by the so-called 'Salafist' agents, who are extended arm of the proxy mukhabaraat of these anti-muslim countries, who are in turn controlled by the western governments. This is a plan to dismantle all independent Arab and Muslim governments one by one. Syrian security forces are given no choice but to stand up to this aggression imposed on them by foreign countries and their agents inside Syria. Th hypocrisy of Turkey was exposed big time in this tragedy in Syria as Turkey can no longer play as a muslim country who care about their other fellow Muslim countries. They are constantly threatening Syria, and many of the perpetrators of this tragedy are taking shelter in Turkey.

Mr conspiracy theorist,Just like Oxidant you are making gigantic` claims, yet you bring no proof. Most of the killings being done by Salafi agents? O miyaa arkasey? Ya ku sheegay?ICan you proof the rubbish you just spewed above?t's unbelievable the way some of yuy guys make these claims about countries you probably have never visited with asbosulte certainity. The internet is indeed an amazing tool; everyone become experts and eyewitnesses.

I must applaud you
Why do Somalis fear the Salafis so much by the way? We should concentrate on our on deen before looking at our neighbour's.

By the way Bashar Al Assad the Syrian president belongs to the Alawi sect, which is a branch of the shia. But here is the interesting bit, the shias themselves see the Alawis as kuffars. Out of the 20 million Syrians the Alawis make about 3 million of the population, why are these guys still in power? Well they control the military. Indeed the Muslims are being humiliated in every region, this is what we get for trying to emulate the West, the Muslims will continue being a joke until the return of the Islamic State, May Allah haste its arrival.
