In Quran, the power of sword and force is emphasized to discipline the weak minded. In fact, in the old Islam days-- pegans were forcefully converted to Islam by the power of sword. I agree with that method, because i like the result where an idiot pegan is converted to a believer Muslim. Allaahu akbaar.

But the recent Egyptian politics where they are taking to court-- President Mubarack who reseigned peacefully---is that really the right democratic move? Really? The man reseigned, he could have stayed on and killed more poeple like Gaddafi and Bashar Asad of Syria. He could have used the military to his benefit and shoot the idiots but he didnt. He simply stepped down for the love of his country Egypt. Now look at the ghastly photos of a sickly former president in a bed in a court of law. Seriously? I say, Gaddafi and Asad SHOULD never surrender. Kill them wassaaqs to the END. I never support this idiots dictator before, but now i do. I have had a change of heart. I realize democracy is not good for arabs. Democracy is only good for the white people, because Allaah swt has blessed them with brains, compassion and civilization.

To answer your question mildly Democracy is good for Arabs and Muslims in general

But I don't think Arabs/Muslims are good for democracy.


Democracy does not thrive in a world of dogma. Western civiilization and other democracies have secular institutions. Islam is viewed by its followers as a political doctrine.

Arabs have used islam to enhance their weird world view. Unless, arabs are detached from islam then there is little hope of democracy, justice, statehood in muslim populated countries.

Democracy this, domecracy that Some people have been really conditioned by the endless propoganda that is repeated in curtain anti-Islam circles in the west. Muslims and Arabs are going thru their own transformations and people should respect the changes that are takin place in those countries.

I guess you are enjoying the fruits of democracy by writing those words. Only in democracies can someone utter those words without fear of stinking primitive people who use islam as a means to suffocate

It is not perfect but it is better than all existing forms of governance

Democracy is fake even in the United states. Corporations and lobby groups are the people who run democracy.

Islamic shariah is the only way to go

They dont need democracy, they need decolonization. 2ndly, democracy is a vague term and nobody can even agree on its meaning. Muslims sometimes use it to mean consultation, but those who follow the capitalist & liberal ideology define it in their own way. So you should be more specific. Let me ask for example is it important to have an election every 4 or 5 years. Where candidates waste billions of dollars campaigning and slandering their opponents with the publics money. Making promises they can't keep, saying anything and everything to get a vote. Who really needs it. What's more important is a functioning gov't whose priority is to govern, not playing games with their opponents and paying back favors to wealthy friends who helped them get elected. Anytime you hear "so and so is a dictator", the real question is "well...does so and so govern well".

Brother we have to first understand wat is governing;
a society is something dynamic, containing a lot of forces, classes/groups some of which are in competition;
democracy is the best way governing because every 4 or 5 years it reshuffles the power according to the balance of power!
it helps to diffuse the antagonism between groups!
it helps those weak too as their vote is needed
besides as by product it gives birth to human right, enlightement and toerance
