I don't mean to discourage you from achieving your dreams but Why do you want to get married before you finish school? Girls like you who grew up in the west need to change the culture of girls getting married after high school. We need to have career oriented independent somali girls and you are taking us back. You might end up divorced after having one baby and you won't have the opportunity to go to school as a single mom. I won't advice my daughter to get married just to waste all her dreams in order to work at someone's kitchen.

don't be cheated that, you would go to school while married bla bla bla. Somali girls became weak marka ay walacaan and they became so sick.

i have nothing against marriage but I think most of our girls only dream of marriage and nothing more. The cadaan girls Dream of school first then think of marriage when they graduate. Maybe we are putting so much pressure on our girls by going for the under 21yrs. That would make every girl wanting to get married so that they don't have to be called old or became less competitive of the young ones. I think if a girl goes to college and finish, she would be of a better pick than a 19yrs old sissy who did not go to school.

I'm sooo goal oriented walaalkiis...best believe it. And if I get married no babies till I'm done with my masters. So, it will be him and my school...thnk God I won't have to work though....I'll be attending school and no babies like I said inshAllah.

I'd rather to get married to young girl before they even had a chance to do Zina than marrying older girl not knowing what the girl did in her young age.

Also, I am planning to get married before I go to Uni, that's about 18.
