Okay heres my thing If the famine in HOA right now was not directly affected millions in somalis back there would somalis here really care?

This is a honest question i have and am wondering. Say hypothetically speaking Oromos were the number one affected in this famine would somalis here show the same kind of compassion for the sufferers?

i say this because Oromo do suffer, not in the manner of the recent famine, but we do suffer and migrate to lands that suppose ease are suffering, just like somalis are migrating to Keyna and Ethiopia, oromo migrate to puntland and somaliland. But Somalis from those lands are somehow mad that Oromos are immigrating to their land in search for a better life. Shouldnt us oromos be mad somalis are coming to our towns in hararghe?

I doubt Somalis are worried about ya'll migrating to our lands as we have our own problems running certain regions. As far as oromos going to PL & SL, I haven't heard any complaints... They'll let ya'll know when they had enough. You're more than welcome as far as I know.... But then again, what do I know about HOA political affairs? Zilch!

Oromo are roughly 26 million, roughly 2,5 times more then Somalis. They have no suffiecient political representation, they have no economical upperhand. They have NOTHING. And their land is being raped by a tigrey midget, why hasnt the oromo started a huge arm struggle? Why havent they lead their own nation? Why are they beggars and not leaders.


Oromos are filling hargeisa with beggers and when they finish their food, they beg some more. They dont have a clue of what to do, and dont deserve anything. If a people of 26 million hasnt even tried helping themselves, then its a waste of time to help them.

I certainly do care for any nation hit with tragic of this scale, somalis or muslims or not. I dont agree with your comparison of people who leave to seek work to people dying of starvation, the former is want and the latter is need. Anywho I don't see the problem with oromos in Somalia and as you can see, people that due all the complaining actually reside in the WEST, Ironic huh.

Saaxib those are not Somalis, those are the wives of the mooryans of the south who cheered for qabyalaad blodsheeding in Mogadishu, but became lonely when their mooryans husbands died. They resorted to prostitution, because they became animals. They are not Somalis.

Don't listen to Coeus, he's a troll. Somalis don't have any problems with Oromos. There are loads of Oromos in Somaliland and puntland, they live peacefully and everything. I don't know where you've heard that people are complaining about their presence, that's bullshit. The few idiots here in Somalinet do not represent the typical views of the majority of Somalis.

Are some of you guys even from Hargeisa? It seems liek these southerners are pushing for Oromo settlement in the north. Waryaa my abti jus came from the damn place, its literally full of them in hargeisa!

ok there Honest truth is they are.. Wake up man is not Oromos on the front pages of every newspaper in the world is Somalis.. Yes South, North and every direction.. I'm in africa right now and trust me the average somali is struggling.. Somalis have no reason to be this prideful..

I have heard of Oromos living in Somalia...no one really cares, they r welcome. We r very welcoming towards none-Somalis...I guess

Sxb i am in kenya right now, do you honestly believe there arent any Somalis from the north in isli begging for money? is not only about peace you know.. Does the Somaliland government support everyone in Somaliland? no, no african country can support all of its citizens. Also not every somali has relatives in the west.. Believe it or not you will find all Somalis are in the same boat for most things.

Now we are just speculating. What i am speaking of is the Oromo invasions. They should head back home since there is nothing to escape from.

The Oromo are far more stronger, more power and more in number than the Somalis. The Oromo can swiftly take over the entire Somali Peninsula, within few months, a year at tops. What I don't understand is, how could the Oromo, whom are probably the largest Ethnic Group in Eastern Africa, be dominated by such insects like the Somalis, Amhara, Tigre, Hararians and so forth?
