Re: To All the Somali Factions
We are stuck with TFG so all our government can do is try its best to destroy Al-Shabab, Shukansi Puntland, support SSC and commence talks with Somaliland.

Re: To All the Somali Factions
I don't know why Somalis are pessimistic, especially in this day and age. For the first time ever, all Somalis are united against one entity - Al-Shabaab and their wahabist cronies.
In a few weeks, Federalism will be made official and we will see the ushering in of Puntland, Galmudug, Ximan & Xeeb, Hiiraan State, and Azania. Afterward, other statehood candidates will make their case and be recognized within the Federal framework. This is a beautiful time in Somali history, a grassroots movement of Somalis who want to shape their destiny based on good governance. The only obstacle is the terrorists and the less desirable elements within the TFG and those too will be phased out soon. The dual-track approach has also made progress in the Somaliland-Puntland dispute, the only other major ongoing conflict. I have good faith that the borders will be hemmed out and those entities will agree on how to govern the disputed regions with maturity. The future looks good, its a future not governed by clan or ideology, but by state identities.
