Is dating halaal? Obviously, not same as western ways.

For example, you meet a girl/boy you like, you ask him/her out and he/she accepts. Few days later, you meet him/her at dinner/cafe/marfesh and talk to get know each others. Obviously, no touching, kissing or getting laid. Once you know him/her well, you decide if you want to stay with that person for rest of your life, if yes, you marry that person.

Is this halaal? Would you do it?

EDIT: You don't date alone, you bring your best friend with you and tell him/her to sit there few metres away from you to supervise you.

I can't really answer your question, laakin why do people date horta? because the dating phase is all fake, you'd never get to know the real person, waxaa lagu tuso whatever you want to see, i just think dating is a waste of time.

Lust. They see someone they are attracted to physically & personally. They wanna be close to them, and then kissing & touching will happen.

But you are right, they hardly gonna know the real person until they move in with each other. And that can only happen when they marry.

So what do you guys suggest? Propse, accept, move in?

I think dating/meeting up is only way you get to know each others. What if you wake up every morning knowing you don't like the person next to you because of personality clash and so on.
