Suldaan Ali suldaan Ahmed said, "We loved somali people and the decision the mayor of Hargeysa has made was totally unacceptable and we can not support Somaliland to deport other somalis simply they support somali unity. Muhamed Mursal resigned from his police post and he said, " I can not be part of a government that oppresses my somali people".
Amin Yahya a local school teacher in Hargeysa said, " I did not sleep last night because of the deportation of Saciid Afisoone from Hargeysa because it is against his right to live in his own land".
Sheikh Hassan ali warsame said, " You can not maintain Somaliland government if it oppresses and forces somali people out of Hargeysa".
