Puntland Captures Somaliland Delegates

Puntland security forces have arrested Somaliland officials, including a lawmaker, after a gun battle near Las Anod in the disputed Sool region.

The two breakaway regions both lay claim to the Sool, Sanaag and Cayn region, and have previously clashed over the region.

After a skirmish, heavily armed Puntland troops arrested 19 delegates in Taleeh district. Lawmaker Saleban Yusuf Ali, Las Anod district court commissioner Salad Abdi, and Somaliland’s military commander of Taleeh district, Faarah Dhoodimeer, were among those seized, sources said. However, some sources say that Yusuf Ali escaped and is safe. Four Somaliland officials were injured in the clash, and all those arrested were taken to Garowe.

The Puntland authorities accused the delegation of illegally intervening in its territories.

And when did this imagery border become recognized or accepted within the international community? Was there a border demarcation?

Because I am certainly unaware of such a border.

Are you serious? Because I pretty certain you are trolling, :?

I mean, someone couldn’t possibly that deluded as such turning their illicit false illusions into some form of sickening reality

But then again, quotes like these is why no one takes you serious; at least try and debate with real facts instead emotionally charged delusional posts with utter nonsense

The more you cause discourse amongst the Somalilanders and Somalia the more you help our case. You're UN and AU have made it clear. So you keep helping the case for Somaliland recognition. Somaliland will ensure peace for its people and defend the integrity of its country from illegal violations which will involve pushing for recognition.

:sland:  viva Somaliland
down with warmongerers.

because it was forced by the west and thats actually a good thing for us African borders are no longer sacred eventhough we have recognized borders by africa , the tanzanian president in 1960 said that the borders should not be changed and that both Somaliland and Somalia should not unite

We welcome the new africa
