My peoples' headquarters. We fought hard for this place to be a separate district, it was part of Qardho until the 1980s. Today it has its own air strip and processing terminal and several private bus lines plus a newly-built high school paid for by diaspora.

I thought Dan-goroyo was part of Nugaal? (checked wiki & it used to be part of bari till 89)& the Guy with the red beard is Sultan Garaase i think...

It is part of Nugaal on an administrative basis, but socially the locals are still part of the Bari community.

The sheikh with the red beard is Sultan Garaase, the Sultan of the Abukar Ciise subclan of Ciise Maxamuud.
